When my daughter entered public school I knew it was not a safe place for her to be physically, mentally or spiritually. I knew someone at the time who was home schooling their older child. Against my ex-husband's and, at the time, my now husband's wishes I forged onward and began home schooling her with a [structured, pre-packaged curriculum]. After a couple years I was so burnt out I put her back in public school. I knew within a few months I had made a wrong decison so I began [the same curriculum] again. I was scared to go from an accredited school to one that wasn't but my husband thought you guys sounded perfect for our family and he was so right! My seventh-grade daughter suddenly has a love for school that she never ever had. Since buying your books and lesson plan, my husband became so interested that he started helping me because it was just plain easy and enjoyable for the parent as well as the student which was a drastic change from [previous program], which was making her hate school as well as question her ability to learn. | “A year ago I was seriously burned out after two years of using [an online curriculum]. While I think their program is good and might work for a family with one or two children, I had just given birth to my 6th child, and my oldest was just finishing first grade! Needless to say, I was a busy Mommy. I did not know what to do! The curriculum we were using seemed like it was the easiest thing to do, but I knew I could not add a third child into the academics without another adult to help me every day. Along came CHC and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! This year my 1st and 2nd graders are doing so well, and my preschooler can't wait to start Kindergarten in the fall. To tell the truth, I can't either, even though I will be giving birth to baby number 7 in September.
It is so easy to include the little ones in the lessons! We simply get library books for several age levels dealing with the same subject, and everyone has something to learn every week! We've started seeds for the garden, made prayer books for each child, and drawn pictures of the animals that live on different continents. Even my 2-year-old can do this at her own level. I don't have to find another activity to keep her occupied while we "do school" - my 1st grader has taken her younger siblings under her wing and loves teaching them while she learns.
I love that the whole family can be involved, and that our whole day is included in learning about what it is to be God's children. Thank you for a beautiful product.”

“Before I was married, I was involved in a conversation about home schooling. I was opposed to the idea in the beginning of our discussion, but by the time we had finished our conversation I had completely changed my mind. Years later, after marrying and having our first child, I told my husband that I wanted to home school.
