I thank God that I finally have lesson plans to keep me on-track and I do not feel the stress I did last year (using a unit study program). We're especially enjoying the Tour a Country activities. Thank you for raising awareness about copyright issues. After reading about it at your website, I've noticed some things that I may not have before. I work part time as the secretary at our parish, and in the past two weeks alone, I've noticed 3 people violating copyright! One was making copies of a Catholic music cd and giving them to her friends; another copied a homeschool cd program and gave it to another homeschooler; and someone in our religious ed program copied a workbook and passed it around. I guess I had never realized how widespread this problem is.
Also, I remembered that, at a homeschool support group several years ago, the group leader offered to photocopy your Little Folks alphabet workbook for anyone who wanted one!! I don't know if anyone took her up on it, but I would hope not! So, I totally agree that this is a serious problem and I'm glad you've addressed it. You should know that many homeschooling families support you in this & are loyal to your products. I pray that people will stop rationalizing ('It's not like I've committed murder or anything!') and realize they are stealing when they do this.
