“CHC provides Lesson Plans for the lower elementary grades. They give you a day by day breakdown of what you need to do with your child. For people just starting out in homeschooling, or those with large families, these lesson plans are a God send. I love the supplements that are included in these lesson plans. For second grade, there is Sacrament preparation that goes hand in hand with the Faith and Life religion series. There was a "tour of the church" that helped my son understand the whats and wheres in church. ... Even if you opt to use a different book than CHC recommends for a particular subject because your child is advanced or behind in a particular area, these lesson plans will work for you. There are empty spaces where you can fill in extra or different activities. There are projects and coloring pages as well as ideas for reinforcing math facts and games to play with your child to help them learn. We enjoyed a supplement called "Tour the Continents." I learned things about each continent while teaching my son. All in all, I love this product!”
