Before the series launched, I had used Handwriting Without Tears for my children. I had a great fondness for that particular program, and did not want to switch over. But my oldest begged to try it out because it was written by Nancy Nicholson! Though the style and instructions are different in Mrs. Nicholson's series for HWT, both of my boys have transitioned with ease. My younger son just completed kindergarten, and I have had comments from some of the mothers in our co-op on how 'neat' his writing is. The top spiral style of the workbook has made it very easy for him to write well this year. My oldest son has enjoyed the copy work and especially the jokes in the level 3 book. “My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Catholic Heritage Handwriting Level K. It had a gentle flow and coordinated wonderfully with the Little Stories for Little Folks Catholic Phonics Readers. The pages were big and the thick paper was great for erasing. The spiral bound top was perfect to be out of the way during writing and I imagine that lefties would find this handy. We loved this exclusive and look forward to doing the next level in the Fall!
