| “This is my first year homeschooling. I had tried several different types of materials before a friend told me about CHC. After looking at your website, I immediately ordered the PreK/Kindgarten Lesson plans. I had intended on teaching my 5 year old daughter the PreK material, especially since we were already in the month of November, but I couldn't resist going into some of the kindgarten lessons as well, as she seemed ready for them. I noticed how using the Image of God Teacher's Edition it is possible to teach 3, 4 and 5 year olds with the same lesson, and age-appropriate worksheets. This is very helpful for homeschooling multiple ages, especially for including little ones in school-time.

“We got off to a slow start with my eldest daughter, Faith, who just turned 6 in May, with CHC's Kindergarten Curriculum. It was a slow start all around as I was learning how to be disciplined in teaching everyday, balancing the time and attention my other two smaller children needed, and my husband getting laid-off and subsequently home for most of the school year looking for a job. We have been "behind" almost since we started with Faith quickly grasping anything having to do with Mathematics but struggling to understand even the basics of phonics. I am glad that I stuck with the Little Stories for Little Folks phonics program. Faith already knew the letters and their sounds, but putting sounds together remained extremely difficult for her. This was a girl who could add and subtract in her head, but couldn't remember basic two letter blends! Your program made it so easy to stick with even though we were struggling, and it has finally paid off! Just after Faith's 6th birthday, something clicked and she understood how to string the sounds together. Thanks to your program's easy lay-out we were able to make quick progress in this area and are almost caught up in a short amount of time. Thank you so much for your wonderful curriculum!
