My Catholic Speller, Level E
Nancy Nicholson

The My Catholic Speller series strives to provide a phonics-based approach to spelling, to instill a love for Our Lord and His Church, and to present the material in a format that is simple to teach and simple to learn.

My Catholic Speller, Level E introduces 20 new spelling words each week while reviewing phonetic rules, plus syllables, suffixes, prefixes, antonyms, and more. The easy-to-use, self-contained program utilizes a variety of activities in each lesson to hold the child's interest. Children enjoy the lively content which gently connects their faith and everyday life.

SAVE: Lessons include vocabulary-building exercises - no need to purchase a separate vocabulary program! Vocabulary-building exercises expand in this level to include a focus on Latin and Greek root words and prefixes.

BONUS: This level features apologetics mini-lessons designed around quotations from the early Church Fathers that incorporate spelling list words. Age-appropriate explanations of each quotation are included in the book.

Advanced Fifth/Average Sixth Grade. Removable answer key included. Spiral bound for ease of use. Softcover. 94 pgs. 34 lessons.

“I am using your books to homeschool my children. I just wanted to share our good news with you. Our oldest son (6th grade) won first place in a Tri-county Spelling Bee contest last Monday. He was the only homeschool child among 14 other kids (which were first place in their schools). We are very proud of him.”

“I remember my own spelling books from grade school which listed all of my spelling words in handwriting. I have homeschooled for 11 years and your spellers are the first I have seen with this wise addition. It takes the guesswork out of letter formation if the child can see their spelling words in handwriting instead of printing.”
