“We have been using My Very First Catholic Speller for 3 months now and couldn't be happier. It is created with children in mind. With it's gentle approach and the laid back atmosphere it is perfect for all little ones. I love that it recommends no spelling test at this level to keep it stress free. I cannot recommend this program enough.”

“My 7-year-old son has loved working through My Very First Catholic Speller. The workbook pages are engaging and varied and we like how each lesson reinforces multiple themes - reading, writing, spelling and the faith.”
- Anne Marie, Kansas
“[My daughter] loves to open her spelling book and see words like "Mass" and "Pope"; she thinks it is so cool!”

“CHC is by far the best and most wonderful curriculum we've seen. My oldest son (7) ADORES the My Very First Catholic Speller. I am so thankful that I found CHC and I pray you will be around long after my youngest ones (5 and 3) go through homeschool and possibly any others that might be added after them! Thank you for making Catholic homeschooling amazing!”

“I want to tell you how pleased I am with your workbook My Very First Catholic Speller. I was using a different spelling program with my first grader and he was becoming increasingly frustrated. Spelling lessons always ended in tears. Then, I remembered how much one of my older children loved your CHC speller and Language of God books at that age. I went out on a limb and purchased the CHC Catholic Speller half way through our school year. IMMEDIATELY we saw results!!!! Your book contains many of the same words that were in the other program...but in such a gentler format that my son actually LOVES spelling now! He asks to do that subject first! Much of the difference is that CHC uses smaller word lists...six words are a perfect number for a young mind to master! Other places use 10-15 words per lesson and that is so frustrating. Also, you give the children practice with pictures and other little games to help them spell. My son just loves that! He is a reluctant writer and yet he begs to fill in the sentence for the workbook pages that have the child use one of the spelling words in a simple sentence. Thank you for bringing back the joy in learning! My son thanks you for making spelling fun!”

“When we reached the last page of our speller this year, my daughter begged for me to get the next book, "PLEASE, Mama?!!" It doesn't count as school to do spelling for this first grader, especially when she doesn't even notice that she's learning spelling and words that relate to our faith.”
