Question: I am noticing that my children are taking after me in the way I hold a pencil and write. Unfortunately, I hold it incorrectly and slant my writing to the left. I continually correct them but it doesn't seem to help. They write and color so much without my supervision that it is unnatural for them to hold the pencil how they should. Is there something I still can do? Are pencil grips a possibility? I remember having to use them when I was in the early grades and that route certainly didn't help me. Thanks for your time and advice! God bless. P.S. I can't wait to have my children start the new Catholic Heritage Handwriting Series!
Answer:

Dear Mom,

Your inspiration sounds like a winner to me. Give it a try. We are so glad to have you and your dear children as part of the CHC family. I can imagine in my mind's eye you and your lovely little ones all writing and slanting your writing to the left. : ) Perhaps you will learn along with them. Isn't homeschooling wonderful?!

Sending out a prayer,

Rita Munn
