To make things less complicated, I think it would be helpful to use the 1st grade plans, particularly since she will be at first grade level in the core subjects. Because they are the core subjects, it would be best to follow along in the lesson plans. However, in the other non-core subjects, she can certainly join her sister in the 2nd grade activities.
