Question: The kids and I love the program and learning together. With the Little Folks' Letter and Number Practice books we are coloring one day and the next day just writing. Sometimes it seems too much of one thing. I would like to split it up a little. Any suggestions?
Answer:

Dear Parent,

Thank you for your question!

It's important to make sure that your child is learning the material, but it is entirely up to you when it comes to how you teach the concept. You have the ability to change the way in which you present the material. If it seems too much of one thing, you can focus on numbers one day and just practice letters the next. Or, you could do the letter and number practice every day, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or just school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. As the parent, you have the freedom to change the school schedule to that which will best fit your needs, and the needs of your child.

Be sure to read the suggestions in the books' introductions; additional ideas are included in CHC Lesson Plans for Preschool - Kindergarten

God bless you and your family!
