Question: We would like to start your program. My child is in 11th grade. We were wanting to know if we could start during the middle of the school year. We have been interested in homeschooling for a while, but we wanted to make sure that we were joining the right program, and we think that yours is the right one. We would also like to know, if we can start homeschooling for the second half of the year, how long will it take until my child can start working? Thank you so much for your time.
Answer:

Dear Parent,

Thank you for your question!

The beauty about CHC's lesson plans is that they are flexible according to you and your student's needs. You can start during the middle of the school year.

Unlike other programs, CHC does not require daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly assessments. They want the student to be responsible for his own learning, without the pressure of deadlines and continuous reports/assessments. It's fine to begin in the second half of the school year if you are comfortable doing so. My only concern is that in doing this, you also ensure that you are not skipping over any necessary materials that your child will need to know. Your child can begin working whenever you want. The assignments that your child completes will be checked by you, not CHC. So you can begin the work whenever you wish.

I hope you have a good experience with this new venture.

God bless you and your family!
