Dear Parent, Thank you for your question! I do not know of any particular standardized test for children with dyslexia. However, I know that dyslexia falls under the category of special needs. Because of this, children with these needs are given special consideration when taking these tests. I know that in many cases the test administrator can help the student during particular parts of the test. My suggestion is that you contact your local school district, in the special education department, and see what extra considerations can be provided when he takes the tests. This will give you a good idea of how you can ensure that the test accurately reflects his content knowledge and academic skills. God bless you and your family! Laura Nicholson |
